Awareness of Feelings
We use several techniques for
increasing awareness
including: brief guided visualizations,
focusing on breathing and body
sensations,
journaling, talking and others.
Feelings surface in many layers:
there are feelings about the
behaviors,
new feelings surface as behaviors
subside,
old feelings that were hidden
by the behaviors show up.
As the numbness starts to lift
feelings can be overwhelming.
The cycle and patterns can
be better discerned and examined
more closely as you have more
access to your feelings.
